Neonatal Ventilation

This is a service required when additional respiratory support is needed for newborn with respiratory complication in which they are unable to exchange optimal amount of gases fir respiration. We usually use non-invasive technique CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) to overcome with health issues including heart diseases and sleep apnea. This machine provides continuous supply of airflow through tube that is deliver to baby via mask overcome with breathing interruptions.

CPAP machine works by taking air which is present in room that gets filtered and allow to flow towards tube attached to it by calculating pressure amount improving breathing action and sleep disorder in infant. It is used on those infants where infants have central or obstructive sleep apnea causing difficulty in them while sleeping.  This makes an infant expose to many other medical conditions like stroke, high blood pressure, heart disease and other respiratory problems due to lack of oxygen in body.
